
Troy Dunn
Born in Strawberry Point Iowa; Raised in Freeport Illinois (where his high school mascot was a Pretzel);
Seasoned on the stage in Milwaukee Wisconsin; Troy is pleased to say "We carried Kerry back home". Politics aside,
he is a graduate of Illinois State University in Normal Ill. Milwaukee, being quite far from Normal,
was his first big city and the place he worked for years performing in over 100 productions throughout his professional career.
The son of a bricklayer, he's always working, whether it be on stage, backstage, in the office or with the hammer.
He assists in the operation of Lotus Builders here in LA. where his forte is custom finish work,
However his true passion always leads him back to the stage.
Recently, He was seen as Ariel in the Tempest for the Classical Theatre Lab.
Favorite roles include: P.T. Barnum in Barnum, Benedict in Much Ado about Nothing,
Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Lord Goring in An Ideal Husband
. Troy has worked extensively on new works and bringing the poet to the stage.
He won Gold at Nationals for his interpretation of Gregory Corso's Marriage,
and produced and presented 'Midnight Milwaukee' and 'Late Nite Theatre X' featuring poets, artists,
comedians and musicians from around the globe.
He's delighted to work with Moti again and pleased to have this opportunity to bring the word to music,
beating rhythm the soul, sounding heart to life, sharing in this dance with you.
